BBS Alloys On An N/A (pictures inside, 56k beware)
59bhp replied to ste91's topic in Alignment & Alloys
BBS RA's for 250 quid?!?!?!? feck me the second set were RM's and are nice, some can go for 900 quid plus if theyre the right type look very nice on a ep82 as well. -
they dont fall apart but they are ridiculously uncomfortable, my brother bought some when they first came out years ago and theyre really not nice. my advice save another hundred or so and buy some evo seats or similar of ebay
-

Help im new and cant get insured for my glanza
59bhp replied to MadMan's topic in Welcome New Owners!
unfortunatly glanzas seem quite high insurance no matter where you, considering youve only just passed your test and your age it seems pretty cheap in comparison to some people. Only advice i can give is to just spend a few days ringing around every single insurer you can lay your hands on. I found elephant to be quite cheap, also try chris knott, -
hmm those articles are always written like a tabloid newspaper, theres is some truth in it somewhere but they always have a habit of exagerating beyond belief. I highly doubt that this is gonna be on every single road in britain, imagine the costs.

i am so confused with all this turbo tuning!
59bhp replied to eggy790's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
too true, ive had my starlet for about a year now and havent touched the engine really as im not 100% on whats best for it yet, Read everything you can find on turbocharging and engine tuning in general then you can make up your own mind ;) -

looks a tad quick, sounds like a bit of a ledge behind the wheel. Rick out of interest how do you think you will fair against dave burwash's car, i know the spec isnt really known to the general public but you might know something the rest of us dont. If i wanted something that would run low 13's down the quarter i know id rather spend money on the 200 than a starlet lol
-
i would be up for this, there are a few meetings in and around mancheter soon as well.

The Cynos B Turbo...or Asshat as I like to call it
59bhp replied to riko666's topic in Paseo Progress Blogs
fekin hell dude your not making it easy for urself lol, best bet is to fit them and see what the crack is, also if your suspension is rock solid then there wont be a whole lot of movement up and down (duuuuhhhh!!) so shouldnt be too bad. I would do what rick says, get some proper streeetch on the tyres. Its okay, thats wat lovers are for ;)
