You can use other bulb holder to keep your normal side light if you want too

Stuff needed to make these. - 4 piece's of wire 6-8 inches in length. - Wire strippers. - Lighter and screw driver OR a drill. - 501 parking bulb holder (take this out of your headlights) - 501 parking bulb and amber corner OR 501 amber bulb if you have clear indicator lenses. 1. You will have to sacrifice your parking lights in your headlights to do this. There's a way around this though if you want. Steps in paragraph no. 9 2. Start by taking off the indicator. Sounds like an earth, if it's passenger side earth it straight to the battery, worked fine for me
