Made the long journey up towards Warrington on friday staying in a premier inn at Stafford friday night before having the EManage Blue fitted and Mapped on saturday at Tuning Developments. Definitely worth the journey to have your car in good hands!
Had a good chat with the guys and then Mike gave me and the mrs a lift into Warrington. It was nice talk people that share a common interest and know what they are talking about!
I was never expecting big power, as i'm only running CT9 turbo but knew that i had a good spec behind me, so hoped for about 190bhp. I was gobsmacked when Mike told me it made 214.9bhp at 1bar and 202lb.ft. and what a transformation on the road! Overtaking from low rpm has now become bloody easy with the huge increase in low end power and torque and further up the rev range the V really fucking shifts!
Massive thank you to the Tuning Developments crew, highly recommended!
Roll on the summer!
Toby.

Back from Tuning Developments... long way!
Got some amazing news..
Not bad for a CT9... The guys at TD were as surprised as me, they said my turbo acts like a hybrid, as if its been rebuilt in the past with a turbine that provides more flow..
What a transformation though! So much more low end power and torque, makes overtaking on the motorway from 3000rpm a doddle. And she pulls so strong, very happy:)
Nice to meet the Tuning Developments crew aswell, thanks again!

Off to TD i go
-
Thanks for the feedback guys means a lot.
Ye it made 210 at tuning developments fastest ct9 they had seen I wasn't expecting that atall lol
Keep the feed back coming guys I really want to make this mint and more suggestions will be fantastic cheers
Loz.
Yeah thats the most power i've ever seen a ct9 produce, most wouldn't get that even if they pushed the little ct9 to 1.2bar!
-
210bhp at 1bar on ct9? Hmmm.
Loving the colour though!
-
I was talking to Mike @ TD about this, as i'm having EMB fitted and mapped this weekend and he said this doesn't remove the speed limit and that a speedo converter is required.

Stay away from pink mate, unless you've sprouted a vagina!

I agree with Trisk on this one.Skyline, Supra, M3, Subaru, Evo......Is that enough??
Your not going to get much of a skyline for 5k, and at that they are big buses!
Supra is again a complete bus, and you'll need to buy one for about 8k to be quicker.
M3, again heavy things, but are quick when modified. But if you go down to your local circuit, 106 gti's are doing these on track!
Subaru, horrible car. And slow... until modified heavily.
Evo, nice car, but running costs are hugeeee.
I don't consider many cars to be an upgrade from a well specced starlet. There have been lots of people that have sold up their starlet and gone for a 200sx or something, and regretted selling up!
Although i can understand people preferring rwd for the fun factor but you'll soon get bored of buying new tyres
-
Is it leaking at all? You 100% its your fuel filter?
-
The car market is on its arse. I paid 5750 for my Glanza in 2004. I couldnt sell it 2 years later for 4k....
Glanzas and GT's will go down lower, then creep back up....
The problem with big high spec cars going for 5K plus is you are looking for a very specific buyer and you can get a SHIT LOAD more car for 5k. By that I mean faster, bigger and the same fun factor.
Name a few cars that are a 'SHIT LOAD' faster for 5k... Im struggling to think of many without modifying them heavily..
-
Just pay it in one on a credit card and then do a balance transfer a get 12 months 0% interest and pay it off monthly at your own leisure
-
I do 10 months policies and all insurance companies regard it as a years no claims that ive used!
-
I used Finnigans Wax Oil, just didn't drive the car for a few days after to let it harden. Yeah loving the exhaust, it sounds proper nice too! Although i've never heard it from outside the car lol.Shitttt that exhaust looks immense, What underseal is that you have used? Looks like a nice matt finish!
Cheers bud, yeah looking forward to it big time!Tasty motor thst ! Loving the exhaust ! Mapping is the best thing ever !
Going down? More like going up aha! travelling up on friday, staying in a premier inn in Stafford on friday night and then having mapping done on saturdayLooking good! What day are you going down to TD?
Cheers pal, will keep you posted!I want zisco exhaust!!!!! Stunning motor, let us all know how you get on at tunning developments

The shitters go for around £1500-£2000. The minters got for £3000-£5000.
-
Pressure builds up in the cooiling system with the temperature, so naturally, the hoses will harden when engine is up to temperature.
