Lew91 replied to Chops's topic in I Spy, Have You Been Spotted?
Ah right, I'm for ever seeing a silver one in the mornings around cosham with a raised bonnet. I know of a black one going round with the rear screen plastered in stickers, could be him. -
Ecu?!?!?

Did the silver one have a raised bonnet? -
Cheers matey, it's never coming out in the rain lol it'll be tucked up all week in the dry till the weekends that are dry..... Anal much!? LOL
-
Give it a go mate, I'd source 2 extra pipes first tho just in case you don't like the feel of it, that way you can just plumb it all back in. It doesn't take long to remove.
-
Cheers lads. Apparently it's fairly easy to drive and the feel for the road is a lot better, only downside is parking but there small enough to fit in any gap really.
-
Cheers buddy just trying to get little bits out the way
-
Slow and steady progress as usual but power steering delete is done and looks something like this. I will be having a nice braided hose made up tho as soon as I get time to nip down the plumbing shop. Charcoal canister is removed and uni flow valve put in it place. Looks a bit gash but it'll do for now, I'll move it under the car at some point. Also got the alternator cleaned and sprayed up, nothing special as I couldn't really be bothered to strip it completely and polish the housing as I'd originally planned but it may happen once the engines done. Think that's it for now,

jdm glanza v Black glanza rolling shell all in £2800 everything goes!
Lew91 replied to Lew91's topic in Cars For Sale
Yeah it really did need a clean up, I'm aiming to get rid of the abs and the power steering has already gone so should look a lot nicer after a good polish. Still thinking about getting the bay sprayed tho as there is a few little rust spots I don't like. Haha I saw the rad bodge lol it didn't leak or anything tho so I just left it to. That sound proofing stuff in the back looks a bitch to get off as well so that's staying put lol. -

Yeah I couldn't work out why it had 2, some one must of really loved boost lol. I've replaced them all with mint trims now so it's all good, the only one I couldn't get hold of was the one underneath the steering wheel. I'll be replacing the dash at some point to with a flocked one and moving the head unit to the glove box to make a bit of room for something fancy Cheers buddy ill keep an eye out for them, I did see the engine bay shot tho with the ct9 still on, it's changed a fair bit since then. -
Shit sorry mate forget to get them I'll do it first thing after work. I'll get the spring out tonight to if I get time.

Yeah the body's fine apart from the door obviously and there was 2 boost gauges in the pillar pod for some reason and some pretty bodged wireing lol. The interior needs a clean up but I've got plans for that and there's a hole on the dash, I'm guessing it was for a gauge pod. I've replaced all the trims that were carbon vynal wrapped to as I'm not the biggest fan of carbon. -

Hmm I'm guessing that was because he worked out how much the box was to fix/change. I asked him once I got home if he knew that it did it he said he thought it was some sort of racing box lol, I just said nah it's fucked lol. How much did he buy it off of you for if you don't mind me asking? -
At the moment I don't have any plans to but if some one down this way is and they are willing to take it I'm all up for that
