  1. Cheers buddy The sides, top and bottom can be polished like mine yes but all I did with the actual core centre is ran a scotch brite pad down the solid pieces either side of the fins and then just sprayed it all with some brake and clutch cleaner, it brings them up pretty good.
  2. I'm still selling the shell, I'm after a GT shell. I wanted a GT from the start really it was only because the V came up cheap that I went for it. Just did a quick mock up of the kit, just need some decent gaskets now and some new nuts and bolts. Down pipe will be heat wrapped and the waste gate obviously needs bolting on.
  3. Cheers buddy, I hope it does turn a nice bluey colour. Going to try and get the turbo kit assembled tonight
  4. Link to build http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/56636-lews-v/page-5#entry870726
  5. With it being slack today at work I decided to have a little play around with the mani. Started off just giving it a quick polish over and then onto the acids and chemicals! End result: I'm not entirely happy with it i was hoping it would be a bit shinier but with the process used it should go all different shades of blue with the heat and in theory it shouldn't rust or tarnish again.
  6. Cheer matey, it was just an old one I had knocking around at work

  10. Right car! Right price! Wrong bloody time!
  11. Looks mechanically polished to me, who ever done it did a good job. Try a bit of brake cleaner in on the fins tho bud it'll take off any excess compound.

  13. Does any one know where I can get a full set of both? I'm planning in replacing them all as some of them are missing and would prefer to buy new. Cheers Edit: if not does any one know the sizes and I'll try to find some that match?

  15. I might have mate I'll have to read the instructions again but it's sorted now anyway. Yeah it is, I need to have a nicer braided line made up but that'll still do the job
  16. Nice work Adam, shame about the rust tho. I used this stuff on all my mild steel bits, seems to have done the job. http://www.bilthamber.com/hydrate-80 It's had some good reviews to and it's easy enough to apply.
  17. I know it's a quad light and not what you asked for but this just does it for me!
  18. Cheers rob, it worked out at just over £100 all in which is pretty good considering all the piece parts off an NA from Toyota are around £90. Yeah I can imagine it'll be a bit of a pig to do with the lump in there.
  19. Got home today to find the kit had arrived, cheers Mike top work Got it all fitted soon as I had 5 mins free really, one thing I will say is that line 3 could of done with being an inch longer but I've sorted that with a spacer now so all good. Few pics: Empty space, not sure what to do with the plugs and boost solenoid tho. Once again top work from the lads at TD, cheers again
