  3. Welcome Crystal....i'm sure there's a buyers guide around here, but tbh...i would try to find a sensibly looked after car with lots of history...over serviced etc, be careful with tuned motors & always check condition of coolant/ nice clean cherry red ( if they have used decent toyota coolant) check the oil & make sure it looks clean/golden/ not black sludgy or milky white!!/caramel coloured!!., make sure the engine is totally free from any strange noises from cold/op temp & let it warm up & check the fans cut in etc...check heaters & they should be toasty after a couple o
  4. Item For Sale: Glanza V turbo HKS Mushroom filter...genuine. Item Condition & Description: used...but looks like new!!...retail @ £135 There is also a small sprung fixing bracket at the bottom , which fits nicley onto the existing std air box mount, so this stays secure...sounds Awesome!!. Price: £50 Pictures: Payment & Shipping Details: £5
  5. Patches...cannot help to notice, tyres...185/55/r15 ?..how did it ride on those?...i have 195/50/r15 Parada spec 2's & ain't too impressed with these...there like new & was going to change them for a better tyre that actually handles damp roads & rain etc. Yes i know Yoko's stick like crap to a blanket on 22+ degree' days & dry etc...but we rarely get decent days like that..& our summers are mainly a washout!!. Did you stick with that size on the Toyo's?...or go for 195's?. Cheers
  6. Can anyone help me?. i'm looking for one of these second hand. Many thanks Marc
  7. Ah, almost a nightmare!!...there's no real commitment anyway...even if you do win. I bought my Glanza off there, & bought blind tbh...something i have never done!, if it was going to be a shed when i got there...was just going to walk away...& then i paid £100 less for it at what i won it for!!...total WIN!!
  8. Welcome...& Happy new year to you!..yes this is definatley a great freindly site & full of essential info & great people....all willing to help. Get to some meets in the new year...( i will be..)...& please feel free to drop a couple o quid in the club tin..to show your appreciation Thankyou.
  9. Its kinda too 'Post man pattish' for my liking...looks uncannily spit of those early mirevas!. Someone else can enjoy that one. Infact no!..i take that back..the Suzuki sport wagon full spec was more like it, if you like this kind of shape!?
  10. Hey Dan, sorry my misstake!, our tracking gauges are Hoffman & the 4 wheel alignment centre is Pro-Align...with Hawkeye Cameras.. There are many car manufacturers on the hard drive & standard data for them , also if for example the car was built with 15" wheels & you fit say 17"..it calculates the recommended settings.. Its a great little bit of kit & all local Glanza owners are welcome !!.
  11. Yes of course, there only a couple of quid!!..
  12. Well...i use the Hoffman 4-wheel alignment centre at work almost every other day...& if any of the members here want there Starlets setting up properly...i'll do it for £20, & if you want to watch your welcome, there will be before & after printouts!!. Only for starlets though!!.. Great machine as it gives accurate measurement of rear thrust line & front setback angles, although this cannot be set, i can see if your car has had a bad past. Hit me up , i'm at leeds & can do this work as you wait on a saturday morning.
  13. Top garage dave & easy access to the kitchen for pots of tea!!...
  14. How about Falken ZE912's?.....i have Parada spec'2 on my glanza V & yes, you do have to be steady in the wet!!...& this is the problem with these tyres!...it rains often here & we don't have super dry/hot sunny days...so the yoko's are a waste of money...there not a cold weather tyre. The Uniroyals are superb in the wet...you can push the car & they just don't let go... I may be changing my wheels soon & will go for either Falken's or Uni's....i think some folks are label whores / tread pattern fetishists!! lol We got to be realistic what works best with the glanza...

These guys are 3miles from me...& last year i went along to see two white glanzas they had on site, not impressed, both had dented bodys...meterorite damaged roofs!!...no rust, but doggy..for TOP dollar...both were well over 4K !!!...not worth it....if you want to spend over 4K , then get the mint black one from DCY...with proper backup/warranty...who gives a rats ass if its got wheel trims. Careful...there sales site is well out of date, as i wanted to see the red one...oh we sold that 2 years ago he said!!.
  16. Ok guys.....anyone got a set available, that have not been fighting with Kerbs!!... There cheesy right?..so sell me yours & put money towards superior Rota Grids.. Thanks!!!..
  17. No sweat Adam!!...yeah...Twas great thanks & i'm enjoying all this Black rum & JD i got as gifts!!...Hic.. ... Keep up the good work & enjoy what you do.. Happy New year!..
  18. Hey don't be offened pal, you done a great job on those parts esp the Mazda Bumper.... ...there are some TOP rattlers here & tbh..you can only get better as the years go by & further experience comes...i see some great painters here...yes if i can get away with it i'll rattle can all day...but me, i simply could not patch the edges of that bumper with silver..i tried & just could not blend it....so i painted the whole bumper. Hope everyone had a great christmas by the way?...
  19. Wait....mine is different to that link, there are no clips etc..mine is a 1997 Glanza V ep91 with air-con/round temp gauges & air directional....just been outside & checked. Any ideas?...
  20. Yeah...mines only just started doing this & the car is bone dry inside...tail lamp seals were cleaned & refit. I'm going to buy both pollen filters tomorrow...blocked filters will cause the screen to mist on the insides in most cases..& make the blower motor work harder...(puts up a vacuum). A good idea to check the bulkhead water drains too...& try the air re-circ switch on the opposite setting.
  21. That's great Iddy....but i thought you sold in pairs?...how much for one then... Cheers
  22. Ok guys i'm looking for one of these, must be mint & no damage!!. LMK Thanks Marc
  23. I'm sure Rbz was looking for a clutch the other day?..
  24. Well out of this lot, for me...has to be the Advan RCII's..or the XD9's by a country mile...really nice. 8)
  25. Eh...why but your just a Wee Boy!?..at 22!! lol....i'm a grisley old skool 40yo & well yes...being doing everything for years...then;)!!..don't be offended. I spent nearly that amount as i needed quite a few items whilst i was there...their paint is £22+ vat per half litre...'Lechler' 2K...i got one litre & the rest of the parts/scotchbrites...p6/8/1000 etc etc stopper & some polish came to said amount...i don't get anything free anymore!. I'm not just painting my bumper...there's a few more items i'm not happy with on the GT4. As for wheels...i don't really waste my time faffing a
