Clinternational
Wicked.... hahaha. you killed one... but i can see it got the standard rust spots Now i can see the place were the Master brake cylinder is going. It's reinforced. I was in doubt if i need such device like brake master cylinder stopper but no need for nice photos Still busy with the rear calipers ?
MR-2
Have been too busy to do anything, working 12-18 hours everyday mo-sa. Brake calibers are in box now, nou hurry. First thing is taking Corolla electric loom away for 4E-FE engine. No progress at now, takes maybe two weeks to get motivation :/
MR-2
Starlet goes camping
TaL
Loving the progress, keep it rolling mando you need to make any changes to fit the corolla centre console? or is it pretty straightforward?
MR-2
Almost straight fit, only gearstick surround must take some plastic away and U-brackets little modification, easy job.
MR-2
Welded few bars in parking slot and moved roof to new storage garage. This should be do before cutting roof, but didn't have welding machine and time when garage was changing :/ Hopefully can get deacent roof surface mold some day. So rusty that windscreen area... MR-2
Changed new aftermarket Klokkerholm valance, just testing how badly right wing is bended, not so bad what I was thinking. I have also one extra valance, maybe have to take glassfiber mold from that. Gray valance can be restored with litle work, so rare parts that have to save all shit :/ Added original lampmask back and hood lock support bracket, not intercooler this time :/
funny onion
Looks good! I have 2 or 3 spare valences, wouldn't mind trying to make a custom one out of the spares maybe when I have some free time!
MR-2
I have now little bit more time, easier at work, only 10h days maybe I maybe lower that valance same line as sills, have to figure first how to cut wings, don't wanna spoil bumper holes. One way is put that plastic spoiler, but mission impossible to find it from Finland. And "granny" effect goes away if adding some tuning exterior parts

funny onion
That's cool I like that, I have a rubber splitter I might try and use once I've got the front end on, still need to sort radiator and intercooler out yet, but maybe haha
MR-2
German imported Starlet donated mudflaps for my car, ugly but same time cool. Finnish model have basic rubber flaps, more uglyer
funny onion
I like the mud flaps! original is cool!
MR-2
By the way I'm back on Facebook again after half year pause, feel free adding me as friend if You have some weird passion for Toyota or Starlets. Don't have much Starlet pictures now, don't wanna drown my friends about rusty Starlet project. Very curious about others projects and car culture anayway. I'm known as "Mistertwo" man in Toyota Club of Finland, so forced to use that name or "MR-2" in many forums. My SW20 has MR-2 registerplates, so that is one reason to use that name, nobody cares about my real name, only real life friends. Hate that forum nick name realism :/ Some how I my face account went to Mistertwo also www.facebook.com/Mistertwo
MR-2
Had to buy 1996 EP91 Starlet to build older one, nothing special haven't happend hole summer, just laying in parking slott :/
MR-2
Parked this Corolla in june this place.Yesterday tooked full loom away from my EE100 Corolla. Engine was taken earlier, normal 4E-FE. Have to clean every unnessesary looms away and only lefting what is needed for engine, so some nightmare is coming :/ Wanna put normal n/a first and then 5E turbo. Going to sell n/a set later or turboing it too.

MR-2
Thanks. Project hasn't go forward now, because I bought EP91 Starlet and EL54 Paseo. Time has gone now working with those and at work again :/ But now I have car for driving and one 5E spare car, so can continue building EP70. Next project is welding rear area stonger and mot inspection so can drive next year november without stress. Have to restorate floor before winter and then have time to build engine and chassis. MR-2
So yesterdays too hard cornering result was broken front shock. I was having 90 degreen turn and maybe 60 km/h speed and in the corner huge bang sound. Steering wheel went weird and car didn't go straight anymore. I drove 1km away from highway, too dangerous place to stop at afternoon traffic. So my uppermount rubber died and I had maybe 10cm toe inside that wheel and some extra caster and camber. Tools were at home and only had original jack. So jacked car up and got it back on where it belongs. I drove 30km very easily back to home with that Then desided took my Paseo shocks to Starlet. Allready knew that uppermount had to modify little bit, had to add few washers too, because Paseo uppermount have four bumps and P7 mount is flat. Also two down bolts were 19mm and had to use Starlet 17mm bolts.Old coilovers were from VW Jetta 2 with EP70 uppermount. Next maybe coming EP91 Meister coilovers, had to do this because this year mot is coming very soon and Paseo engine is broken, so it's not moving anywhere at moment. MR-2
Some earlier roadtrip pictures, one week time with these pictures. Found old Union gas station, cool place to take few car pictures, look like pictures are taken at same day but aren't
MR-2
No Paseo shocks, tooked those away. Got "new" used rusty ones, good for me just temporaly for MOT. Cleaned and washed those, were much bad looking before picture.HUGE thanks to Olli "Whitestar" for helping me, granny is back on the road again. Very good to have friends like him and was also to help him little bit. Shocks are from green "Rusty", not so rusty anymore Left Starlet and right Paseo, couldn't see any bigger visual difference, only top mount and lower bolt holes are different size.Paseo EL54 vs Starlet EP70.Just little bit ratlecan paint before installing :/
MR-2
Tested my Paseo horrible alloys, what a offroad car with this oem struts, won't rub anywhere for sure. Wanted to test offset also for future...195/55R15, 7x15" with 37mm offset. Front is fine, rear is too inside, maybe 7" would be good with 20mm offset.
Taggy
what a cool project, I miss mine a lot, but I was spending so much money on it it was ridiculous, i probably only drove it 1000 miles a year if that!! Ill have to keep an eye on how you get on.
