Justforfun Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Have a guy there with just the unit. What will I need to get for it. Cheers. Quote
Peaches_Screeches Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 I believe, but open to correction you will need both ignition and injector harnesses which are inexpensive in comparison to the actual unit itself. Quote
Justforfun Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Thanks for the reply. If anyone else has anymore info that would be great. Quote
Justforfun Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Is it worth picking up the unit just by itself? Quote

RobSR Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 No thanks dude just looking for a Blue.EMB is a blue bud. Seems a fair price if it has a field harness with it too. Quote
Justforfun Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 EMB is a blue bud. Seems a fair price if it has a field harness with it too.it's way out of my budget man. They come up for sale here over in Dublin alot for around 200 euro I'll wait till one pops up. Nice one. Quote
RobSR Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Without being rude if you can't afford £300 on an ecu , how are you ever gonna get it mapped, and ever have a contingency fund If something goes wrong? Unfortunately they are little money pits. Quote
triple j Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) 300 sterling for a EMB really, buy an emu and more for that Edited May 2, 2016 by triple j Quote

Gilly Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I made my own harness and bought the connectors for the EMB end from simtek. its really easy to do once you have the pin outs for the ECU. I may still have the paperwork and if anybody wants the pinouts send me a PM. In total i think it cost me £12 for the connectors and its a lot cheaper then paying for original harness that does the exact same job. Quote
