Voltage stabilizer

Anyone ever used a voltage stabilizer on a starlet? D1 spec one goes for £35 wondering if its worth it

Not a D1 but used a pivot I don't think there worth it buy summit else imo

Cheers, was planning buying an earth kit so was just seeing if there would be any benefit to a voltage stabilizer too

I had the D1 eathing kit also.. waste of time imo

I never noticed any improvement with my voltage stabiliser, best part of it was it showed the current voltage on the unit. I had havnt bothered fitting it to my new battery.

dont waste your money man trust me I've been an auto electrician for years and these things alongside the whole earthing kits do absolutely fuck all

Yep not worth it. Best thing you can do is make sure you have good earths from the engine to the chassis/battery. The head to drivers side strut tower lead is quite small diameter so I tend to change that out for a larger diameter cable especially in setups where the battery is in the boot. Clean terminal to chassis/battery connections helps.
