Darren86 Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 1994 GT , jam ecu hitting fuel cut at 1-1.2 bar and will not rev past 7000 rpm mods are relocated air filter with mushroom filter and japspeed turbo back exhaust and adjustable actuator I'm new to this and need help please Quote
daniel_g Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 1.2bar is about the limit of the standard MAP senosr so that could be your issue. Quote
Darren86 Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Could it be a faulty map sensor or faulty coil ? I was reading about the different codes on ecus and my standard one was 10100 black sticker and the jam is 10040 green sticker and read you had swap two pins and when I looked pin 7and 15 was different so swapped them and now have no engine diagnostic light but before I swapped the wires in diagnostic mode it would read code 14 it's decking my head lol Quote
Darren86 Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Also why is it not reving to redline when the jam is supposed to raise rev limit to 8000 ? Quote
TrisK Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 are you sure that it really is a JAM ecu? can you post a picture of it Quote
Darren86 Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 It's on my car at the moment , it has a black jam sticker on it and a second motherboard inside Quote

Darren86 Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Just soldered the wires back to normal on connecter 2 and going reset the jam ecu and see what fault codes flag up Strange though as no codes appear on stock ecu Quote
daniel_g Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 That lost pic option is for paid members. These P&P ECUs are 20 years old now, i wouldnt be surprised if some started to fail. Quote
