ashep91
Anyone know how to work out what injector size I need for my set up? If I get big injectors just to cover future proof upgrade and tunning will it mean I just burn more fuel if I could get away with smaller injectors or is there any dangers to this as at the moment I am going to end up with about 4 sizes and keep swapping them to see what's best at mapping surely there's a better way? maddox710
Always air on the side of larger injectors. Depending on power levels denso 460cc will do for upto around 300bhp, any change in injectors will need to be re mapped.

Patches
If you can then go for some aftermarket injectors like injector dynamics or deatschwerks. Reason for this is they match the injectors and provide data on dead times which can be hard to obtain otherwise. Inputting the correct dead time data helps the ecu create a much more refined tune. Also dont go for too big an injector (e.g. above 1000cc) as it can make getting a stable idle difficult
