EP70-PT
So, having the oil feed and return figured out, I started to think of ways of doing the watercooling on the CT9, yes I know I could do without it but why not? I don't have CT9's in every corner where I am! xD Since the 4E-FE doesn't share the same thermostat housing as the FTE, I thought about looping the Throttle body water lines to the CT9, would this work? What exactly does the throttle body water do? Could it do without? Cheers
5e colin
the w2ater going tru Tb is so the wax stat softens and closes the hole lowering rpm thats on the turbo tb so think wioll be swame on the na tb fit some T joiners in the lines going to the tb i dont see why it wont work ?? EP70-PT
Or I could just bypass the throttle water feed and put it on the turbo instead, that was my original idea
5e colin
no it will fuck up the tb idle best to keep wax stat watert usage you can bypass ofcourse but in winter it will be cunt to setup as very slowly the tb will heat up and stabilise the rpm
EP70-PT
My idle is already weird idk why, it starts at 900 in the morning than raises to 1100 when warm... idk why it's doing this...
5e colin
That be your electronic idler valve doing that not the wax
Rob H@RCH Engineering
You can just fit the thermostat housing from a turbo engine and then you would have the feeds

Patches
I'm from France mate, would have to get one shipped, more hassle more wait etc xDFrom experience I would say it's worth the wait to do it right. Express postage surely wouldnt take too long?
