Custom spark plug leads or components

Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend a company that would sell the spark plug boots that fit into 4e and 5e heads? I have customers cars come thru that require custom leads and while its not hard to make the leads themselves, finding the boots into the heads can be a bit trickier.

not a clue where you would find such Stu, but could you probably modify the ones on there already or buy some cheap ones any modify to suit?

The issue with modifying the stock boots is the diameter of the leads. The aftermarket leads material is generally 8mm to 10.5mm so squeezing that into the stock boot is a bit of a dick.

Magnecor do a custom lead ordering service, they might supply the parts you need or for make up leads to your specification. Probably not that cheap mind you

Aw really? I hadn't used it personally myself so that's a shame to hear

I had one set of 20v leads that the terminal inside the boot into the head didn't even reach the spark plug. So it was arcing across the whole time. It took them 4 weeks to send me a new unit. I had to argue to get the replacement and there was no apology.
