5T4R7ET N/A
Its will look ok as long as you get a good quality carbon gloss wrap. On ebay there is 6d wrap which i ordered just to experiment with and im pretty impressed by the way it looks. But i dont know how easy it apply yet, will find out soon
Sefton-EP91
I've had my roof "carbon" wrapped and I'm having it taken off, after 3years Ive gone off it completely! I would much prefer the oem look but it's obviously down to personal preference!
Calum122
But this is the beauty of wrapping cars right, Sefton's had it for three years and now he wants a change, he can do that quite easily. So if you fancy it you should go for it, if in a year you want to go back, it should be a simple process. Bit of graft, or a little bit of money, but as long as you enjoyment out of it why not! Personally I would have it OEM but try it.
mart1
It's not my cup of tea at all, looks cheap. Each to their own though.
4e_FTe
I am an OEM guy and wrapping the roof was last resort. I had an accident late last year and the bonnet hit the roof causing distortion. Ive had it at the bodyshop and almost all dents removed. They have advised that even after the repair to the roof because its been filled previously it would look rubbish painted. Ive even asked about a new roof panel but obvs a big job. They said have it wrapped. Im not a fan an thats why ive requested pics etc. Wish i could stay OEM but dont want it to look crap. Calum122
To be honest, my brothers roof has this dent and my mates Evo. Unless you're going for the concourse look, it's no where near as bad as rusty arches or dents in the side.
mart1
My first silver glanza i owned got vandalized at a car show over night, car roof was fucked but luckily it popped back however it was Wavey, took it to a body shop and they skimmed the roof, £250 and it looked new again. 4e_FTe
Im not going for concourse but little niggles bug me lol. I think ill have it wrapped in a gloss carbon to blend in abit with the black. If it looks shite like sefton is doing gives me chance to save for a proper repair to the roof and have it back normal. Thanks for all inputs guys.

Thanks for all inputs guys. have you thought about going for just a gloss black to give a slightly more oem look rather than carbon? obviously its 100% entirely your choice but if you prefer the oem look but cannot do its due to damage then maybe a gloss black would gove you a more oem look than carbon? just a thought... 4e_FTe
Yeah the chap whos wrapping it said i could have almost the same colour black but the carbon look was purely just to hide the dents as the pattern of carbon would take the eye off the dents etc. Im going to see if they can fill the roof and get it almost flat and maybe go down the route of having it just black. 👍🏼
Ralph1
I wrapped my roof in matte white carbon, you have to be up close to really notice it, I didn't want to go black as it was too in your face. I like the subtle effect of the matte white. Pete
