Darragh Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 So yesterday I said my goodbyes to my old 1998 red Toyota Starlet S and said hello to my new 1999 SILVER Starlet SR! Absolutely over the moon and looking forward to many years of motoring with it!! Spotless little car. Quote

wakeabby14 Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Welcome! Clean looking car bud what are your plans? Quote
Darragh Posted July 19, 2017 Author Posted July 19, 2017 I'm looking to put in a glanza 98 spec interior into it along with a leather steering wheel. Also a corolla inlet manifold wouldn't go amiss!Trying to keep the exterior mods as subtle as possible. Quote

Darragh Posted July 20, 2017 Author Posted July 20, 2017 Yea the red one was a tidy little car but was hitting 140,000 miles whereas the sr has only 90,000. Quote
Addymk2 Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Mileage Vs Maintenance. A well maintained car with higher miles will be a lot better than an average maintenance car on less generally.I've gotta ask, when you fit the 98 Spec interior does that include the standard Glanza seats? If so, Id shop around. They're crap. Gen 7 Celica seats go in well enough and are a LOT better Quote
Darragh Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 (edited) Tbh not sure what front seats I'm going to put in. Thanks for the heads up though! I'll definitely have a look at a pair of gen 7 celica seats! 👍🏻 Edited July 25, 2017 by Darragh Quote
t'mill Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Do the Gen 7 Celica seats require modding to fit? Quote
5e colin Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 Sure not a smart option to leave bolts out when installing these seats Quote
Addymk2 Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 I got all 4 bolts in. You can also go for the method stated in the last post. To get all 4 in you need a mate to give you a hand with a breaker/just a thick piece of steel to bridge the gap Quote
