I think I've probably done something very similar, I don't think it is broken, but NEVER undo the lower arms on my car. Luckily, it's powdercoated with new bushes and should not need any maintenance. But one day, I will probably need to do what you are asking!

Calum122
I only had problems because I was fitting an anti-lift kit which made everything extremely tight, plus the lower arm brace. Just meant there was no room for movement. Having them powdercoated looks the bees knees! Edited October 19, 2018 by Calum122

I was thinking this. So you just use a nut and bolt then?

So you just use a nut and bolt then? ye it was a good few years ago i done it, just use a longer bolt and nylock nut with a big washer, youll need 2 people to tighten it though one in the car, then tack weld it all if possible so you done have to mess about with the floor skin again. i only had this issue on the passenger side, i cut a big flap and pulled it back then welded it again after i was done, arms been off and on couple times since the "repair"
