Hello, my name is Dom and I have just purchased my first Glanza!

I have been wanting one of these cars for the past few months after discovering them and finally decided to buy one. 54257583_647818909008789_5393393138863702016_n.thumb.jpg.d161416ff3772f4188087dacd48ffaed.jpg54435741_358400458097961_2089023817341992960_n.thumb.jpg.75aa34c51944b96ad2b37f2cb560d996.jpg54415993_403015927167628_3994481574266535936_n.thumb.jpg.5eee66db6b3fd30a818185fadbe06f15.jpg54358748_297401080951948_7475680501865381888_n.thumb.jpg.15367052ece7e0e5a5ae8ef46bae3861.jpg54728899_2498257783531319_1119780781036666880_n.thumb.jpg.60db2f8c01ff1d715cb9f0ec4f2e82fb.jpg

It was imported in March 2018 and has done 600 miles or so since it's arrival. Been garaged since living in the UK and while in Japan it had a service every 4000Km!

On 120,000km currently.

This is what it currently looks like after a few hours at work!

While it is stripped I will be undersealing the entire car

Current plan is to fully respray it in a Pearl Yellow...

I am a professional painter by trade so this is one of the many perks the job has! :p

Plans for the future include wheels, coilovers, exhaust and an induction kit!

That is going to pop!

Such a clean car as well.

What are the plans for it?

Cheers mate! Couldn't of asked for a cleaner car for my first Glanza. Once the car is undersealed and built back up, coilovers and wheels are definitely my next step! In the long run I'm wanting 250bhp daily driver.

Got the car undersealed finally, so that should stop it from the harsh salty roads of Britain! IMG_20190324_102337.thumb.jpg.9a963d4964bdec76d129af630f1a988d.jpgIMG_20190324_102332.thumb.jpg.845a55aec78dd0d553d4b5cba830314e.jpgIMG_20190324_103911.thumb.jpg.1f6b7d841e412b4396f6399a915768b2.jpgIMG_20190324_103911.thumb.jpg.1f6b7d841e412b4396f6399a915768b2.jpg

And this is currently how the car is looking after a few hours of building up.

Just waiting on some clips for the weather strips as I sort of broke a few while taking them off :D

Next issue is insuring her. My current insurer won't swap my insurance over as they don't cover imported cars.. And my insurance runs out in 4 months, so I might have to wait 4 months till I can drive her!!

Paint looks fab.

Run a second policy? I pay something nominal like £200 a year for my Starlet.

Cheers, over the moon with it!

I'm only 23 and have 2 years ncb as I've only been driving since I was 21.. And all my no claims are on my other car at the moment.

I got mine when I was 21 with 0 NCB.  Cracking car to have, must admit mine has never actually worked but nevertheless.

I am finally back! Sorry for my absence but I have been through some crap at the start of the year, but I thought I'd come update what has been done in the past few months.

The stock steelies weren't going to cut it so I went and purchased a set of Wolfrace wheels for £70 which will do me for now. They're wrapped in Nankang NS-2R's, £240 for a set of 4, god I love little wheels!

IMG_20190413_084049.thumb.jpg.62eafa721133dfe67be49b8729ce2034.jpg

I refurbed them myself in a custom colour. Mixed Daytona Grey (LZ7S) with some high sparkle silver, so I hope I never curb them as I forgot the ratio I mixed it at.. oops!

Nothing really happened for the next few months with me splitting up from the missus as all my money had to be saved to move out! Not good!!

Purchased an APEXI N1 JASMA stamped back box (£70) for her and ghetto welded a flange onto the original center section.

So next on the list was some coilovers.. IMG_20190728_104741.thumb.jpg.cf15a71a3ece59d0028d39bcf38d0a06.jpg

IMG_20191012_105923.thumb.jpg.01edff8686ab2e0494661b6410cf6c9e.jpg

Got some TEIN front coilovers for £70, good working order and was waiting on the rears.. but they turned out to be knackered so I just have the front fitted for now.. Probably not ideal but she looks a bit more aggressive and handles a tonne better.

Last week I got a custom 2.5 stainless steel mid section made (£260) at a local garage, makes the car sound a lot deeper and meaner!

It was my final week at work last week too so I took the opportunity to completely flat and polish the paintwork (which I haven't done since I sprayed it..) and she turned out super well.

So that is where I am at currently. I have a 3 pod pillar on it's way with a boost gauge.. So hopefully I will be installing that this week! Plans for the future are to buy a set of brand new MeisterR Coilovers in the next few months.
