ToyotaTech15 Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 hi i have an ep91 starlet n/a 4efe and am lookin 2 change the engine to a 4efte, just wondering what i will need to do it, (mounts ,wiring etc) i am a second year apprentice for toyta so parts/techdata isnt really an issue, but i am just needing to no wat 2 look out for possibly avoidim hoping to start in the next few monthsany advice will be appreciated Quote Link to post Share on other sites

StarletRick Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 thats a big question mate. cant really answer the whole thing! the swap is pretty much straight forward. only the wiring that needs sorting (to fit the turbo ecu). everything else literally bolts into place. any specific questions though, and ill give more detailed questions. ToyotaTech15 Posted May 27, 2008 Author Share Posted May 27, 2008 kewl, well i read the post about another n/a starlet that changed to a 4efte, and he seemed to run in2 a few problems throughout the build, he changed th whole 4efe wiring loom for a glanza 1 i think. i can get brand new starlet bits no bother through my work but its more where i can get an engine box etc from can i not just use th complete 4efte loom? i was goin to contact fensport about gettin an engine Quote Link to post Share on other sites
