yeah, ive seen that a couple of times, makes me laugh tho. the copper says to him:

"is the exhaust legal?"

he replies "dunno"

copper: "well theres no silencer, so its illegal"

like theres a actual law about there having to be a silencer on an exhaust system! ;)

he should have said 'its too loud'

but then again, i dont think theres actually a db sound limit on a exhaust anyway.

i believe a mot tester can fail a car if he see's it to be 'excessively' loud, but thats it.
