dbest02
Have a look in the Insurance threads to see what other people with Glanzas use.Not sure why that is though, some companies dont have it listed, keep looking around for online quotes, but my next suggestion would be to get a quote for a 95 GT, then ring them up with the reference and ask if they can change it to glanza, make sure they know its a V, not the S aswellMight be worth trying Adrian Flux too
glanzavturborocket
yeh lovin your work mate it dont exactly matter that its a glanza cuz its exactly the same engine and power im sure?????????
dbest02
yea, the Glanza weighs a little bit more, but the engine is the same etc, i dont understand some insurers
glanzavturborocket
i think my best bet is too ring elephant and tell them to put it as a glanza ive looked at the insurance thread on here and elephant love glanzas so thats all good for me cheap cheap cheap........... lobotomy
I phoned elephant after I got an online quote and gave them the reference code and told them it was actually a Glanza (ie a facelift GTTurbo) The guy seemed to know what I was talking about and never changed the quote. So long as you value your car as much as it's worth (because that'll change the premium)
glanzavturborocket
exactly what im gunna do cheers mate lovin it looks like in june ill have my glanza then thanx people for all your input you have been good help

glanzavturborocket
the only thing is im youing and ive just wrote my previous car off so im going to have to put that on the insurance premium but it will only be for a year then wen i get a years no claims it should hopefully go down a considerable amount i hope neway
ecksjay
a years no claims dont make much difference mate, not for me anyway, when i hit 2 years of driving that made the most difference, about £500 difference, but 1yr ncb made about an £80 difference.....
glanzavturborocket
so how old r you mate and what company you with?
dbest02
When you hit 20 it goes down, and you normally get alot off after 2 years driving and 2 years ncb
glanzavturborocket
ill keep that in mind mate i just want a glanza i think if i ring elephant wit the reference number and get them to put it to a face lift model then job done...
ecksjay
19, with 1 yrs ncb is me, paying bout 1400.when i hit 2 years driving it made a huge different, whereas the ncb made almost sod all difference.
