Rich
Question Does anyone know the standard Injector size of an N/A starlet? I have looked on websites some say 176cc some say 205cc so thats a bit confusing.I have found a couple of interesting sites with usefull information on them. This site gives detailed pictures of the injectors and their rates.www.witchhunter.comThis site gives details and has lots of other usefull information on it.http://www.tercelreference.com/tercel_info.../injectors.html
Jozinobi
N/A EP91 injector size is 195cc Rich, 5EFE injectors are also the same, 5EFHE = 225cc and 4EFTE = 295cc.I have all three sets funnily enough. Those are the most common increments, trust.Tercel Reference is an awesome site but it does mainly deal with yotas found in the usa, so there are a few variances.Joz
ste91
So 5EFHE would be the "next upgrade" for a 4EFE?Are there any differences between Corolla/Starlet 4EFE injectors?
Jozinobi
I wouldn't say it was an upgrade for 4EFE man, just the next size up.Just adding injectors is not gonna make much difference to be honest.PeaceJoz
ste91
What I meant was, is it the next step up from the 4EFE injectors as far as 4E/5E engines are concerned?I assume the injectors would make a difference if you had the correct air intake mods too - corolla inlet mani and a good air filter setup? Jozinobi
Try it and see Ste You would need before and after dyno runs with the different injectors too to see if there are accurately any gains.Joz
ste91
Oops, that first line on my last post was supposed to be a question edited it nowI may try it in the future going from what people have said about Glanza S injectors
Rich
Might put my standards back in as Glanza S ones were running lean. Will hopefully be gatting a safc to see what can be done with standards, if its still lean then will need to upgrade or get a new 02 sensor Also Joz, any chance you could get me the part numbers for those injectors? cheers
ste91
Might put my standards back in as Glanza S ones were running lean. The Glanza S runs at a different pressure though doesn't it?
RobSR
^ yup, i think its 3.5 bar or something...anyway standard starlet ones (Green) =195ccCorolla ones (yellow) = 225ccGT ones (brown/rusty colour ) = 295cci believe..also rich, buy this SAFC off me god damit lol
ste91
So if you are pushing the limits of the standard injectors, then you'll want either 5EFHE or Corolla 4EFE injectors? (30cc increase)
RobSR
as dub said though, 4efe ones will be no where near the limit...if i worked it out correct...(most probs not) they are only at 55% or something
ste91
So unless you change to F.I. the standard injectors can be left as they are?Rich's topic and I'm asking all the questions Atleast it makes a good read for someone who wants to know the answers
