Bourkey Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Seriously, send me some pics as i need to know how to fit this for him ;).Bourkey Quote
Idrees Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Guys guys you don't NEED an air wrench to get those rear top mounts off. ;)Stick the nipple thing at the top in a vice and open the nut with a 17mm spanner. ;) It's pretty easy, just done it on mine today. Quote
Bourkey Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Don't have a vice anymore as i have my own place now. Neither does Craig. We are just doing it the easy way by renting a meaty impact drill. It's electric though so we don't need a compressor ;).Bourkey Quote

Bluebear Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 I still don't understand what an oil sandwich plate is. I mean, it doesn't sound particularly appetising ;) Quote
Asad Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 lol it goes between the engine block and the filter so its (engine block) (cheese ploughmans sandwich plate ;) ) (oil filter)then it enables you to plug a gauge in etc go get a reading for oil temp? or pressure? Quote
Craig_N Posted December 31, 2008 Author Posted December 31, 2008 Hi pics would help massivly as bourkey has never fitted one.Craig Quote
Dean @RW-Developments Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 il try and put up some pics in the mornin but atm i got some major shit going on with my insurance! Quote
Dean @RW-Developments Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 its the top left thats the problem you will most likely need an angle grinder but dont just cut straight in to it you will need to carefully shave the power steering bracket a little at a time, if you taake too much off it will just snap!pics arent brilliant mate but sort of gives you an indication, i carnt actually get a pic of where ive ground the bracket because its such a snug fit, you will soon see when you come to fitting it its the top left! if i can remember i had to take about 3-4 mm off the bracket so it would fit!
