howdo you raise the back of your bonnet up? want to do this to my gt. please help.

It's not chav it's functional my friend ;). To do it just unscrew the bolts that hold the bonnet on put in a few thick washers and bolt it back on. You may need longer bolts if you go quite high though.

you have to get bonnet raisers and not all chavs have it, it serves a purpose....to get more air into the engine bay

can use washers mate, just a correction that it doesnt get more into the engine bay at all, what is does do is it sucks warm air out when moving

I've considered doing this but is there any problem with water getting in?

It's winter now and I think we're going to be in for a pretty bad one, wont raising the bonnet let everything in if it snows/rains?

which part do i unscrew? the bit that holds the hinge to my car? or the bit that holds the hinge to the bonnet?
