how to bleed brakes

how do u bleed brakes?

how do u drain brake fluid out of tank n system?

top reservoir up and pump brake whilst friend undoes bleed nipple till no air, check reservoir n do same. starting rear passenger to front driver?

without engine running

make sure resevoir has fluid in at all times

open nipple (amate)

press brake (you)

close nipple (a mate)

off brake (you)

repeat the above untill allmost all air is gone

tighten niple and pump the brakes

open niple there will be a shot of fluid come out and onto your iner arch no doubt

press the peddle slowly whilst tightening the nipple

pretty much it, anyone correct me if ive missed/miss told anything

MAKE SURE NO FLUID GETS ON PAINTWORK its works as a sort of pait stripper

no idea I don't have a clue about brakes really

all I know is that while the engine is running braking is assisted

Put a cube block of wood under so the pedal doesnt go down far-far i think it damages the seals of the mater cylinder.

Was going to say I have never bled the brakes on any car with the engine running

Dont bleed brakes with the engine running.

Start at the corner furthest from the resevoir, moving to the front closest to it.

how does the nipple open? does it just unscrew?
