Puk
Hey guys ! My name's Kenny (a.k.a. Puk), I'm from the south of Belgium (I live right next to Luxembourg - where I work - and right next to France) and I just bought a blackToyota Starlet 1.3 16V from 1997 with 87 000 km on the clock. I will get it next saturday cause the dealer I bought it from has to pass the MoT before I can get it. It's fully original, and I'll probably keep it this way for quite a while because it will be my daily driver and I have to do more then 100 km / day (roughly 60 miles for you guys ).When i'll get it, I just want to make sure I start from a clean base. So I'll change the coolant, replace the oil with someCastrol 10w40, new oil filter, new air filter, new spark plugs (which one should I get? original ones from Toyota or ...? ) and the cam belt was just done (today actually). Maybe next year, if I have a bit of money left, I'll buy some decent little wheels (probably rota's), some good tires and maybe upgrade the suspension and some good discs and padsMy next mission though, is to put some little music in this car ! But no subwoofers or anything like that. I just need a decent sound and somehow connect my ipod somewhere ! by the way: I lived in the UK when I was younger, in Birmingham where I studied a BSc in Industrial Product Design. here's a few drawings I've done for fun. As you can see I'm a german car fan (especially Porsche - I am saving up to buy a 911 Carrera 3.2 next year) but I have to admit that if you want a decent car that will never or rarely breakdown and is cheap at the same time ... you have to buy a toyota I love to go to Spa Francorchamps and to the Nordschleife as well. i'm going there at least every month. Any of you guys go there?here's a pic of my mom's micra (what a shit-machine) on the Nurburgring with me at the ring Myself buying the 21 euros ticket ( )And myself tackling the 'ring in this piece of crap

Puk
Just did a little photoshoot the other day !I know it's not a glanza turbo, but hey, for a daily driver I don't need anything else ;) As you can see it is not in a great state (driver's seat is fooked and I don't know where to get a decent one - nothing in scrapyards around here), but i'm trying to fix the little damages one by one and i love to take care of it The car has now 106000 km on the clock, it's being used every day, it fires up without any problem every single time and runs great !Next things to do:Do a little service : spark plugs, fuel filter - cause I get a very strange noise when I accelerate - air filter, oil filter and some Castrol 10w40 will do for the momentNext year, I'd like to buy some Rota wheels in 15 inches with toyo T1R rubbers on it, fit some news discs and some good break pads, change the braking fluid, and maybe fit some good shock absorbers/springs (why not coil-overs). But, in belgium they are extremely arsy with modding your car ... I have to see with the MoT down here what is possible to do.Hope you enjoy it;)
