Up early.. got to fit the panhard rod and sort the mani out.any one know the length i should i adjust it too with about a 40mm drop? i havent a clue how to fit it hope youve all had a nice day.Mitch Link to post Share on other sites
Minorand944man Posted December 26, 2008 Share Posted December 26, 2008 lol ^ just put the jack under the sill (im guessin its a proper one with a knotched plate? if so it shouldn`t damage the sill badly) and the stands under the chassis youll see when you get under there.My jacks have the dished plate designed to fit around hardened dome shaped jacking points. Its just that not all of these points under a car are designed to be strong enough to be jacked to lift the car. Often the points are for stands. I don't want to use the emergency jack (meant just for tyre changing by the side of the road) to lift the car high enough to get the axle stands under and to get under the car for a look.
