After the last meet being a bit of a fail.. Thought we should plan another? :harhar:

So how's this sound...

- Knockhill (Speed Sunday Car Trackday)

- 22nd February 2009

I reckon, if people are up for this meet then we should have a back up plan just incase all goes wrong again and Knockhill is cancelled?...

Obv i won't be going in my car (GUTTED :) ) but will work out something so i am def there (if people are up for it that is..) :)

One thing I've heard about the "speed sunday" events is that they're crap.

Apparently the track is coned off atsections and your in effect funnelled into corners plus the people that normally go to these cheaper days take their shitters on track and don't really care if they stack them off the track or into another person - and if that does happen your not likely to have insurance to cover any damage.

The more expensive days are meant to be much better, I'm going along with a mate to one of them on the 7th of february so will see what its like.

Wallace you are not too wrong there, there are alot of sheds on track but also a lot of very expensive cars, tricked up EVO's etc, if you would be devastated if somebody rammed an xr2 into the back of your starlet stay off.

There are other days available though. I was at the speed sunday in January and it was mega busy, probably got around 10 clear laps the whole day, and yes, parts of the track are coned off. It has a bad reputation as the old 'hot hatch days' had alot of nutters taking out others' pride and joy!

Anyways its a risk you accept before taking your car to the track I guess...
