Maz90
Just got my gt turbo and drove it for the 1st time tonight.0-100mph is ok i think but after that theres just no more pull and it creeps upto 120mph then thats it,during 100 mph + the standard boost gauge is right up ?Am i over boosting?Any help would be grateful as this is my 1st starlet, never mind turbo,so dont know much about this.Cheers

montanajr
I think you might be confusing fuel cut (caused by over boosting) and speed cut (the restriction that stops your car exceeding speeds of 112mph).
Maz90
Why is this happening if the cars standard and what should i do to fix this problem ?
ste91
Because all cars in Japan are limited to 112MPH (180KMH).As far as I know this can be removed with a speedo converter which changes it from KPH to MPH so your top speed is now limited to 180MPH rather than 180KPH. p15tle
or a speed limit defender can get greddy 1's for £

WallaceGlanza
By the sounds of it you have no problem at all, a stock GT is not gonna pull that hard over 100mph.Get a proper boost gauge to see what you're running.
