This site offers you a self-service garage where you rent a bay to work on your car, sadly the only location at the moment is London.

I do think this is a great idea though, especially for people without garages, at a reasonable price too imo.

Just a heads up that it says in the FAQ that it's half price for the first month too!

Thats a great idea, I can see it really kicking off as nobody can afford the labour charges of getting it done by a garage these days.

Just need to get more of them around the country

Its an excellent idea this but was told this is what halfords had planned to do years ago and the halfords in paisley has the garages for that purpose but never went through with it due to health and safety reasons.

But it is a cracking idea but as graeme says what happens if you screw something up and takes you longer than you thought which is almost guarnteed most of the time lol

We have one like that here in Norfolk.

Although, me and some mates used to just go on base with our American friends and use there garages, soo cheap!!

I think this is an awesome idea. In the current climate with people saving money by doing stuff themselves. These are going to do very well i think.
