Gt Seats,

Hey guys, might buy some GT seats from an EP82, will these fit straight into my EP91 or not? Ive heard that you have to mod the rails but how hard is this? Is it expensive??

From what ive heard its just one back mount that is slightly out, all other 3 line up,

Dont think it will be expensive or hard to sort that last mount, as long as the other 3 are secure it will be sound

same here luke. I may get some soon, will let you know how it goes. Think all you will need to do is cut a bracket of each seat and re-weld it.

I tried GT seats when I had the ep91 n/a and nope they dont fit straight in, firstly the pins dont match so they need chopping off. Secondly the front leg nearest the gearbox has too much metal around the hole, the holes all line up with some persuasion but the leg is just too fat. With some metal trimmed off this leg im sure they would fit fine. I ended up breaking my set just getting pissed off with em. They were lush when half fitted and sit much lower to the floor which is a good thing in my opinion.

While we're on it, how hard is it to fit MR2 seats I know some people have done it before?
