I've got one on my Paseo.

Bare in mind these were made for the 1.5 engine, not the 1.3 so I dont know how different the gains would be on the 1.3's but I found it free'd up some power in the higher revs and accelerated quicker as it wasnt so restrictive.

As for direct fit, yes and no.

It will all bolt on fine, you'll need to either drill a new hole for your lambda or extend the wiring to the front where the flange is on the manifold. I had to have my cat moved back a foot and a flange welded on so it would all bolt together.

I found it one of the best performance mods I'd done on mine.

Only problem is the OBX tag fell off mine over some point while I've had it, and its started pitting, but I'll see if that comes out with a polish. But, it has been on there for 18 months and has covered 11k

pace setter ones are much better in my opinion...

and chanelle, if you really want a good exhaust made up to fit on it, i know a bloke... its about 400 quid for a manifold back job but it is rediculously ube work.

i showed curt a pic of one of his manifolds before i think. he got a boner.

I heard bad things about the Pace Setter one for the Paseo's, cracked alot apparantly and workmanship wasnt that good so I was told.

The Hot Shot header was supposes to be the bollocks but they stopped making them, and I only knew of one Paseo with it on and he sold it with it on there, or I would've had it lol

Rick, Pacesetter may be good, but from the people on Paseoclub who know more about them (American members) we've been told to steer clear in terms of 5efe manifolds.

Paceseter stuff for other cars may be good, but the 5efe manifold isn't highly rated

thats a shame, they make mc wins manifolds for the USDM stuff.

obx has always been just a bit.... pikey.

is there a big demand for good headers for the 5e?

i could get some TC ones made up for a reasonable price, really good quality ones, all tuned length etc... do yours cheaper if you let me borrow your car mikey ^^

I could put up a thread over on PaseoClub and see if there's any interest.

Doubt there would be more than bout 5 takers though to be honest.

And yeah, you could borrow my car, would just steal Joey's Corsa a bit more :thumbsup:

I think there's more of a demand for us 4E users as there are already a few manifolds made for the 5E whereas it's very very difficult to get an "off the shelf" manifold for the 4E.

I doubt many of us would want to pay £350 though as most of us plan to move on to turbo power once it becomes cheap enough on the insurance.

Hmm maybe I worded that a bit wrong. ^^

I'm talking more of the displacement difference between the 4E/5E. I would imagine the 200cc difference affects the way it performs.

No one as far as I can see has tried the Pacesetter/OBX manifolds on the 4E, so no one really knows anything. And I don't think people want to risk £250 on something that possibly wont do them any favours.

if you were talking about 10k rpm+ race engines, then yes it would need to be perfectly tuned. to the specific engine.

however, the head flow etc on the 4e/5e is the same.

and the intake is basically identical.

the 200 cc wont make any difference appart from a tad more torque.
