Jam Racing Glanza Specs

Recommended Posts

ive found a 5e block and im trying to replicate the jam engine but with the use of a td12, it would be mint to know the lift and duration on the 250ps 5e.

Seeing as you're using the TD12, would it not be better to use some cams that are more suited to the TD12 rather than the ones that JAM use?

the td12 pushes roughly the same amoont of air as a k1 - 200 possebly more.

im only looking for the jam specs to replicate it as im going 5e and higher compression also.

i want to get close to that 250ps figure even if it means using 102 ron lol and those cam specs will give me a solid guide to that power goal

if its any good to you when i rebuild my K1 turbocharger i found alot of it was off the shielf toyota bits. Basically its a TD12 shaft and turbine wheel with custom blitz compressor wheel and housing. The blitz compressor wheel was bigger than the stock td12 one so i'd say the K1 would produce more power. The Compressor seems more evolved than the td12 as well.

Can't wait to get mine fitted and see what all the hype is about. I did something a little special as well and converted it from a normal oil journal bearing to a dual ball bearing setup :( Responce here we come lol

me and gary_ep91 are on same builds the now trying to crack 250bhp @ the fly on a ct9 based hybrid

and ive specked two custom td12s that use a bigger compressor housing to get this build to the right power level on a 5e.

only two turbos are being built to this spec. il post up pictures soon :(

Reading through this post has got me thinking, i brought my car from yahoo auctions it has loads of jam parts and was advertised as having a complete jam engine, when i got it and removed the sump i found standard rods and thought, i've been done but now i've read this it doesn't actually say forged rods, so i could actually have a jam engine. I deffo have the thermo housing they are on about above as i couldn't work out why i had no water lines to the turbo and the thermo housing looks properly modified i have the modified sump they are also on about and cams, I did have the jam ecu, manifold, decat and blitz k1 but i sold them to fund other parts. Anyone know what boost the engines they built would take ?
