chr15_7_t_
i seen one of them blitz on here but you are ther expensive same with hybrids..td04 are generaly quicte cheap tubbys you can get a good one on ebay for £150 :harhar:.looked at the garrets aswel but it was a t25 but decided to go for the td04
ste91
The same setup on a hybrid CT9 would be fine. A Blitz K1 would be good but they're fairly expensive/uncommon. A Tong Turbo's GT spec would be fine.Alternatively if you fancy spending some money I've been looking at these Garrett turbos:http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/products/turbochargers.htmlTake a look at the GT20 series, I think one of those would probably be better than a hybrid, but more expensive and a fair bit of fucking around as you'd have to get a manifold and downpipe made up to suit them and rotate the housing to fit properly. ToyotaTech15
If it was me I'd go for a gt-spec hybrid or similar hubris ct-9 if that's the power you would like to run.Gary

chr15_7_t_
arnt that turbos expensive though?
ToyotaTech15
Turbo itself through the I commerce on the site is £465 check Enzo's tong turbo shop,Minimum requirements of a uprated actuator blow off valve relocated filter and uprated rocker cover breatherAlthough I would add a decat and manifold and management if running above fuel cutGary
chr15_7_t_
no wanting to pay that just for a turbo though :/ thats why im going td04 :harhar:.can anyone help with the fueling
Steve GT
fcd and rising rate fuel pressure regulator will sort the fuelling. get a hks or jam FCD and get a RRFPR off somewhere like tm-developments. should cost no more than 200 quid id say probably a lot lessbut i will say td04's take a lot longer to come on boost than the hybrids which kick in pretty much straight away so a td04 wont be as quick in acceleration lol
chr15_7_t_
i know they dont spool as quick :/wats an rrfpr?
ToyotaTech15
It's a rising rate fuel pressure regulatorGary
Russleh
well your gonna have to buy the td04 mani downpipe etc so wont you be spending about the same as if you were just to hybrid it. will bolt straight on and you can upgrade everythin else at a later date. chr15_7_t_
how much a hybrid cost roughly?
Steve GT
erm gt spec hybrids are new at £460 rouhghlt and the td12 hybrids which apparently pack a better punch are around £650 but the td12's are fairly new and are still being tested but the feedback so far looks quite good
Steve GT
Link here dude if you want a lookGT-Spec Hybrid
chr15_7_t_
cheers :harhar:..will go for a peak the now..although i stil fancy the td04 lol
Steve GT
yeh the thing that was stopping me getting one is the big delay in spool up time. acceleration is the key and the hybrids seem to be the best
chr15_7_t_
the only thing that gets me with them is the price :/...im wanting to use my car at crail raceway on the drag strip so im wantn sutin quick of the mark im shure the td04 would be oryt if your siting ther at 4,000 rpm before take off hahaha
Steve GT
yeh but once you change gear it wont spool up again till like 3500-4000 rpm lol whereas a hybrid will kick in sttraight away lol
chr15_7_t_
do you ever see many second hand hybrids floating about?

Ryan-11
oh and standard fuel injectors will b fine for running 1 bar on a td04, i ran my td04 on standard fueling at .8 bar the ecu was fueling it fine, it made 184.9 bhp on the rolling road :harhar:
