I mainly use the ICE range as they are a bargain price for how well they work.

Bildo - Poorboys wheel sealant FTW!! How nice does that smell?? its immense, Also quick question for you do Poorboys do some kind of quick detailer type stuff as i would like to start using more of the Poorboys range.

Haha, the wheel sealant smells amazing, as do most of their products to be fair.

Spray and Wipe is Poorboys quick detailer, very good stuff and I dilute it quite strongly with water so it lasts ages.

I don't ;]

But in all seriousness, I did buy a comprehensive range of the Meguiars "NXT" products, was not impressed by it to be honest, the microfibre towel though was pretty good

Riko, standing the bottles infront of the car don't clean it..

I have had good results with the 3 step megs range. Paint Cleaner, Polish and Carnauba Wax is WINZ, also the Auto Glym Tyre Dressing.. good stuff too.

hi all

any cheap wash and wax as a shampoo

usually autoglym srp also on wheels too :)

back to black on any black stuff

cheapo tyre shine

pedge multi surface glass, wood, metal, plastic on windows

any cheap dash shine.

it does not matter how many products you use its how you use them, just washing thougroughly including every nook and crany under the arches by reaching in with a sponge, rinse well, dry well making sure windows are'nt streaky and there are no water marks and you are 90% there.

after that a good wax nice and regular making sure that no wax is left on black work.

if you want to make the car look extra nice do all of the above then a small amount of tyre shine, clean the black work and your done.

i see too amny cars that have been detailed so well on the surface but as soon as the rain comes dirt gets pulled out from around the arches and door sills and other fiddly areas and dries on the paintwork. you can tell the car is only clean skin deep because the good old british weather exposes it all

The two bucket method uses two buckets, not one. In thie first bucket, you have your car wash solution as normal. In the second bucket you have clean fresh water. First off you soak your mitt in the wash solution and begin washing the car. Then, before dunking the wash mitt back into the wash solution, you rinse it out in the second bucket of fresh water - this rinses out the dirt and grit particles from this mitt so that they cannot come into contact with your paint, reducing the number of swirls inflicted.
