i just used a wire wool thing in a drill and wet and dry to get the scractes out then polish

Looks rather swell, i must do something with mine, I'm the same i still have a top mount RX7 jobby but it's still covered nontheless

i just started sanding it hahaha with some corse sandpaper (emerary cloth on the bad bits) and just got finer and used wet and dry with water and washing up liquid to get it really smooth and got all the scratches out and then polished it like fuck with metal polish haha

and na dont have to replace it i just used some gasket sealant on it or can use something like rtv silicon.

I would replace it for piece of mind, why not whilst your at it =] but you could get away with it.

so sand sand sand then polish. sweeet =]

its alright mate after sanding its a bit shiny but after the polish is on hahaha its propa shiny hahaha just proper rub the polish into it and even noin it looks clean look at the rag and its black hahaha i polished mine twice but theres sum lil scratches round the lettering which im guna sort out next week
