Dan Evans Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 ok, I've found a company who will build the new gears for my dog box complete with the shaft out of Billet, which is great, although postage is an arm and a leg lol.quick question i have though, is about the clutch, now when your shifting up the gears you just pull it straight into gear without touching the clutch, but when you change down gears do you use the clutch then? I've seen videos about them and people are using it to go down rather than up.any more info on this guys would be great, cheers...Dan Quote
rorenapier Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 You can shift without the clutch both up and down, if you wantedIts a case of matching the revs more on the downshift which takes more skill as to not lock the box up.Up shift, just lift a slight bit, and clunk it through. Any more details on the gearkits.? Quote
