Wheel diameter, tyre sizes, surface conditions, weather conditions, vehicle spec and any modifications are all examples of what could change the reading.

Both of my Starlets have done 60 in 2nd right at the limit, regardless of mods/road conditions/tyre size (195/45/15 and 195/50/15).
