Starlet__SR
Are you on about the bolt that secures the pulley? A good fitting socket and impact wrench is your best bet.Damien
chr15_7_t_
im guesn he is maybe hes not and im just been stupid lol
micky boy
Are you sure you are undoing it the right way because the thread could be the opposite way?
lukEp
^^^ yeh i'm thinkin clockwise thread to undo.
ToyotaTech15
to get the cam pulley bot out just take off the rocker cover off and lock the camshaft on the nut like part with a 24mm spanner i think or an adjustable wrench to hold it from turning and crack the nut*edit* thread is normal, same as the rest of the thread direction on the carGary
Starlet__SR
RH thread then, didnt think it would be different, sometimes a quick shock will get the nut loose. Damien
ToyotaTech15
in my experience they are usually very tight if never been off, might be lucky thouGary
Starlet__SR
I'd imagine there would be a small bit of thread lock too. Rather them be too tight than easy to get off lolDamien
