Screamer Pipe+mot

Im going to be fitting a screamer pipe...

As i understand, my GT is pre 95 and shouldnt need a full emissions test..

Will it pass with a screamer pipe?

screamer shouldn't make difference to emission really as it's venting boost, although might make the emissions less I suppose due to venting boost and not sending it through the engine, thus making the ecu fuel more.

Although at the revs an mot test is done at I doubt a screamer would vent.

Thats ok... im just debating with myself whether to leave the wepr system on untill i have an MOT..

Or risk it and go for it with screamer. I just dont know how the MOT tester would react..

You should only have to pass the basic idle emissions test and since the screamer pipe should only vent when on boost then you should pass with no worries.

mines a 95 i have a screamer and it pased ok

Im sure its technically an exhaust leak, but it should pass.
