Like it says are there any differences in the bottom ends? ie cranks and bearings! I know the oil pic up and filter is slightly longer and the sump but are there aany other differences?

haha when i saw this post i thought it was some noob asking it and was going to come back and sarcastically write ones turbo'd and one isnt but then saw your name and thought ahhhhh must be more to this lmao

lol yea i just re read the title and thought the same!! lol no its a serious question shall we just say it involves a 4efte and a fooked bottom end!!

Hopefully I will have the answer to this sometime next week as my bro In law is getting a n/a conversion to do and the fte engine has a rattlie bottom end so he's going to see if the bootom end of the original n/a will transfere over as soon as he has them in bits I'll takesome pictures and let u all know.

yea having the same idea.the crank i knocking like a bugger so was having the theory or just using the na bottom end to rate rebuilding the bottom end just bolting on the rods and pistons then the head on! But i wasn't sure if they were the same or not!

Now this does sound interesting, hope all goes well for you all.

Are we all talking about a complete bottom end swap? shells bearings cranks the whole 9 yards??
