Right then guys i am stuck!

What shall i do next?

I cant decide whether to keep doing little things that dont cost too much or start saving heavily to git it loweredand for exhaust etc

All i really need to finish the exterior is

  • Exhaust
  • lowered(springs/shocks&springs or coilovers)
  • New alloys

What order should i do this in?

I'd say leave the alloys till last as you already have alloys.

Then again I want your alloys :) But you are a fair way away from moi :lol:

Depends if you'd prefer visual (lowered) or aural (exhaust noises) ?

by the way, what bout your lil plan you told me bout? Is that not happening?

Yea mate that is happenin. That is not a mojor exterior plan though

I am on about the major things that are gonna cost the most amount

Your right about the alloys though, they will be better with a center cap and painted black so i will leave them for a bit

Exhaust will cost 150 and lowered..........well i dunno! Depends what i do!

I could either just buy springs...shocks and springs...or coilovers

major difference in price depending on what i do

Glad to hear it will be going ahead :)

Up to you depending what kind of handling increase you want regarding the lowering.

If it is just for asthetic purposes go for the lowering springs I say.

Your call at the end of the day mate :lol:

by the way Mike, will get you a photo tomorrow to show you what dirt looks like :)

I can get gas shocks and apex srings with a 40mm drop for 250ish i think it was or koni shocks and g-max springs for near enough 500.

I want coilovers but i dont know whether it will be worth it or not

And Mr Elliott i think the paseo alloys are ok for now or at least they will be when they are black :lol:

Hehe, this is where I am no longer any use, am not knowledgable on these matters.

Is plenty bout coilovers in the technical section, go have a look.

Or PM Joz for some info, or any other geezer who knows stuff about suspension.

Coilovers then Lenso Rs5's in black with polished lip....whatever gave me that idea Mr Elliott??? :lol::)

And for mikey yes i should imagine the inlet mani will make more of an induction noise...heard a video of Joz's with JDM mani, panel filter and TTE back box and sounded amazing!!! :lol::)

wouldnt change the note of the car on tick over just when your on full throttle you will get some meaty induction noise and you wont be able to stop driving with yourfoot to the floor everywhere :):lol::lol:

Have to up with D1 spec exhaust now lmao.

The more modifications you get done, the more noise especially decat full exhaust and other shiny bits of metal but the more your car will look, feel and sound the tits :p

Yes mate, get a good condition tte backbox for the meantime and you'll be laughing.

I really enjoyed the former 'joz' spec :lol:

I wouldnt get a full exhaust system just yet. The choice is yours.
