How The F.... Do You Bleed The Clutch Properly?

As title says whats the best way to go about it! I tried and failed and now have nothing!!!

I know it shouldnt be hard, im just a virgin to bleeding clutches

Same principal as bleeding brakes.

Always worked for me.

yeh just allways with the pumping and hold it down and get someone to bleed in and repeat as many times as ya see fit.

this is exactlt what i was down but the slave doesnt seem to be taking fluid from the reservoir, just run out of fluid somehow, so there was no more fluid to bleed an no pedal at all!

hmm defo check for a leak somewhere. maybe in the flexy bit. if it was completely empty u might just need to add more and continue. really theres nowhere it can go unless theres a break in the pipe

yeh i know the feelin. just finished strippin the interior of my car and by the time i put the tools away i couldnt see all the bits i took out. think i got them all tho haha

My guess is you filling the brake reservoir not the clutch reservoir.

Look behind the brake fluid reservoir to the right there is an even smaller pot for the clutch fluid. Are you filling that one?

Done hahaha still some air in the system but a couple more bleeds tomorrow will sort that now that there is fluid in it

i just whack a hose end of the nipple, put it into a cup with abit of fluid in there, and open the nipple. will let it out it self.
