Hi all im just wondering are the 4e-fte engines any good i have a mk1 Gt turbo and im just wondering do these engines run for ever well looked after or do they have lots of faults do they run very high on the mileage thanks ty

oo thats isnt so bad then my cars under 100k so thats good lol have u ever seen a starlet with more than 200k on the clocks haha

I think they are awsome engines, should last if looked after

I have a 4EFTE in my kitcar, i like them that much

Will last 100% as long as its maintained and never starved of engine oil or other fluids.

Ensure as much as possible that its warmed up and cooled down to prolong turbo/engine life and operation.

Making sure cooling system is clean and working properly and there are no oil leaks anywhere, if there is rectify them as soon as possible as could be serious if not attended to.

Oh and its a kickass engine.
