GT Phayer
i think u have to drill holes to clear the studs mate but not 100% sure
llawgoch
you just tighten it onto the two longest bolts

ollie ryan
if i try to put it on the large bolts it wont fit
Lukew360
If it's handed maybe the previous owner put it together wrong Try take the ends of and swap 'em?
ollie ryan
i took the ends of to paint but it cam straight of a na but wont fit my glanzai think i need to cut the white thread off in those pictures but unsure lol
pig666eon
well man if it was made for the car there should be no need to cut and drill. i highly doubt cusco has in their instruction that this is what has to be done.as said swap ends and if that doesnt work i would get my money back. the brace has to be square across otherewise the bolts will be taking the strain and cause problems. thats alot of effort. aswell if you drill it out its not going to be worth the money if you ever go to sell it. ollie ryan
hmm will have a mess around tomorrow and see what happens

BigMan
is there a difference between na and glanza top mount parts?as it came of a nawell ive heard the rear strut braces off standard v's wont fit on n/a's for some reason not sure why though mate.
pig666eon
is there a difference between na and glanza top mount parts?as it came of a naby the looks of things man i would say so. im sure you could flog it for a new one?
ollie ryan
yeah well i got it and it was corroded so polished it all up and re painted the ends so looks pretty mint and no will have to sell it
Asad
The rear 3 point toyota optional extra one doesnt fit N/As and Mk1 1 GTs as theres no place to bolt it at the bottom.......the brace you have should fit 100% be it 2 bolts or 4 bolts if not id go knock on the sellers door. As above i very much doubt cusco or anyone got the manufacture process wrong
Amjad
I'm quite sure the Cusco ones have 4 bolts and Greddy need to be drilled for Glanzas/GTs because they have 2 extra strut threads
Ryan5793
the cusco brace does have the 4 holes unlike the greedy's which i never understood as every turbo I've seen has 4 and uk n/a has 2. Was the greedy only designed for the n/a's then? which would be quite silly lol
Jozinobi
A good indication would be to look back at Whitelines braces as I'm pretty sure there was the 2 bolt problem back then as well and people had to drill. Hardcore EP91Cusco is always 100% for rear brace fitment but the plastic mount covers either have to be trimmed or removed.Joz
Idrees
That brace is for a Mark 1 GT or UK spec Starlet. They don't have the threads on the car like the later GT/Glanzas do.
ianrayner
What do the other 2 studs/bolts do that are not attahed to the rear shock ?
Ryan5793
What do the other 2 studs/bolts do that are not attahed to the rear shock ?i think they were added for the oem optional rear strut brace. well thats what i always thought anyways..
ollie ryan
so i drill two holes in the brace or remove the two threads of the top of the suspension?
