jon5698
Right i have been let down by that company who i was ordering the wheels off again! i am just going to spend the extra money and get some decent ones now instead of waiting. Do you think i should go for 15" with 50's or 16" with 45's? i have put a few photos up of my shortlist which apart from the super legeras are all 15" the super legeras are 16" your comments would be appriciated. jon<a
Mikey Jay
That smells, won't be using them when I get my alloys ;)The 5th set along are pretty damn nice in my opinion.
jon5698
yeah i like the matt finish on them am going to go to revolution on saturday and have a proper look, won't be using potn.com again they should not be advertising wheels which they can't get! miracle411
Have you considered the Ultraleggara's?? I also like the Buddy Clubs on the end too though.
jon5698
yeah i have thats why i was asking if i should go fo 15's or 16's because i can only afford 15's in all of the other rims but revolution have a special offer on for the ultralegeras in 16's which would cost the same as the rest in 15's. there was another set of ultralites which i liked in bronze but they only had the silver pic on display. Idrees
Buddyclubs (last ones) are would certainly suit the GT best. The 2nd ones are quite nice too with the black centre and polished lip. But i'd get the Buddyclubs if i had the money mate!
jon5698
yeah they were the ones i wanted when i first got the gt but i really like the ultralites and the black oz one next to them
paul w
The KEI wheels in gunmetal finish are nice.
Idrees
Definitely recommend the Buddyclubs.
BoostJunkie
i like them all to be honest but the second ones are well nice i think there momo corse's are they not could be wrong but they are nice all the same
jon5698
yes the 2nd ones are momo it's hard to choose between them i will just go down on saturday and see which ones look better in close up. cheers for your comments
SiCaln
gotta be the buddyclubs all the way

Nanglebadger
Yeah those are momocorse wheels, i know because theres a set has just arrived in england for my brothers car!!!Phil.
jon5698
so would you's go for the 15's or 16's?
paul w
I have 16's on my GT but many go for 15's as they're a bit lighter. I'm not fussed if a little bit of performance is lost through the larger wheels.
jon5698
thanks i am going to wait until the boxing day sales to get my wheels as i am going to see if i can get the car booked in for a rolling road session to make sure everything is ok, as it is only boosting to 0.6 on full boost. ecksjay
ultraleggaras bend like they're made of butter.buddyclubs dont last very long laquer wise, neither do rota.16's are too big for a starlet, you lose all drivability, 15's with 50's is what you want.
jon5698
cheers i think i will go for with 15's, see what deals they have on on boxing day. Do you know if the cusco lower strut brace will fit on the back of the starlet aswell?
scutch0
dont get 16's.theyre too big and heavy for a starlet, i had 16's on my old one, and it made a big hit to the performance.alsotyres for 16's are mega expensive compared to even 18's!
Idrees
Why are they mega expensive compared to 18s? Im not recommending 16s on a Starlet but my dad got some good 16" low profiles for his Civic which lasted him, cost £43 each.
ecksjay
didnt mean they gripped any good ;)nah but he's got a point, 16" tyres are generally more expensive because they arent as popular as 15's and 17's, so they dont make as many, which means the prices are generally that little bit higher as they still want to make the same profit. Idrees
Ahh i see, well my dad wasnt going round corners at speed so they were ok for him. Suppose its a lil different for you guys!
ecksjay
most certainly is mate but yeah, thats the main reason, they're less popular, in aftermarket and OEM varieties ;)
