Is it worth stripping my GT ?

Recommended Posts

If you luv driving do it!

Run around with a can of tyre weld,

I wouldwnt do it in icolation I'd do other things aswell to make it more noticable,

spare tyre and interior trim = 25kgs

rear towing eyes another 1kg,

ac and gubbins including pump + rad =25kgs

powerstearing pump+ bracket = 20kgs,

I wouldent recomend bellow but

you could go further by taking the structural support of your bonnet off leaving just the skin + bonnet pins.

You could do the same with the doors and rear boot.

After all of that you should be left with something close to 700kgs

that would give pounding performance on stock boost

Stripped out looks awsome also, so its double win! If i had a starbo i would strip it out :)

If its not needed to make the car move/operate then rip it out and bin it!

Think we need a competition to see who has the lowest kg starbo :) Would be quite interesting to see what people can achieve!

Hopefully mine will be about 500kg, but its not really a starbo so don't count. People can obviously lie but only way to properly tell is to get it weighed, will be getting mine done when its built as i really want to know what it is
