Bildo Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Don't really understand the point in putting a heavy sound system in a small, light hot hatch. Other than that, good job, looks tidy. Quote

raffa_mk Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Having an ice stystem in small hatch always sounds better than bigger cars in my opinion, unless u have a 4x4 or pickup with Ooober low bass setup and creating a speaker wall, I love my ice system, then my exhaust and finally some comfy seats. SoundEvo Posted December 11, 2010 Author Posted December 11, 2010 thanks for the comments guy!the point was, as we are a car audio specialist...to put a load of sound in the car!and yeah, you bet it's loud if i say so myself! As Raffa_MK said, bass always plays better in hatches...so it was an ideal starting car! Quote
durmz Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Do you not get alot of rattle with the bass? My old glanza had shit rattling all over the shop lol Quote

SoundEvo Posted December 11, 2010 Author Posted December 11, 2010 Do you not get alot of rattle with the bass? My old glanza had shit rattling all over the shop lolbefore the system went it, several layers of dynamat was installed throughout the whole car...no rattle! Quote
raffa_mk Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 ^^^ As above dynamat all the way, its probably what alot of you ep owners should look at when you strip out all the plastics and interior to reduce road noise that you guys complain about, however dynamat is quite costly, maby you could look at other materials that have the same properties??? Tyron Devine Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 i was thinking about getting my spoiler and bonnet carbon wrapped lol have u got anymore pics of the car in carbon ?? Quote

ollie ryan Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 not a fan of the vinyl wrapped bonnet or the sub enclosurelike the rest alot how much would it cost to sound proof an entire glanza using the best stuff?the road noise is oing my head in when im on the motorway so need some form of sound proofing Quote
ryan lang Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 im loving the glanza mate, but the sound system is a no go for me, i was expecting something other than just a box with 4 subs rammed in it lolalthough i have a sub, its only a baby 1 Quote

ollie ryan Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 £650 to sound proof my car! thats a hell of alot more then i was expectingis that just to pull the carpet up and lay some down on the floor or is it abit more involved then that? Quote
