guessing thats a photoshop in your avatar?

if not that looks pretty mental haha

plans sound good, get some pictures up mate

Yeah it is indead, not posted my car yet. It's still in the garage doing some upgrade. As you can see the rear bumper is a Chargespeed bumper for the Subaru impreza. I found it to be really fierce on the glanza. I want to get one and then make a fitting and also keep the oem glanza front bumper with carbon fibre eyelids. I was looking for people who can actually make one to fit glanza. A company offered to make 75 to 80 percent alike.

I will update pictures

Hi all, I have just ordered a set of ARP headbolts and custom 1.6mm metal gasket from Speed vision. Also a new double core TD04L radiator and racing slim fan. I should get it by next week and hopefully solve my overheating issue.

Current Issue

Car went in the garage because of coolant loss and overheating. We took off the head and replaced valve stem seals and new oem Toyota gasket. Did a fist day run and was fine. On the second day temperature stayed in high after some high boost. We replaced to a new radiator and then after a while of road test the car did the same thing again. He removed the spark plug to found water with the spark plugs, as the car was making some weird noise at idle. The cylinder head was already skimmed when we did that oem 1.2mm gasket change. My mechanic who has a glanza as well advised me to use Metal MLS Gasket and ARP headbolts. I think the mistake as been the use of OEM headbolts which might have been stretched and was causing problem on high boost with that TD04. I have also change to a new water pump as the old one as one blade broken off.

As the car is in the garage ive not have time to take pictures. I have found one with similar colour and look to mine. The only 2 main dif is that mine as a beautiful pair of red SCUSS bucket seat and alloy wheels.

What boost was you running mate?

Was planning on running 1.4 bar on the standard headbolts so maybe I will need some ARP's then.

we went up to 1 bar with an FCD. But my headbolt may have been reused a few times and never changed. They are TTY and tend to stretch after using them over again. ARP's will be the way with those alluminium cylinder heads.Your case might be different if they are new or used once but i advice ARP to be safe than sorry. Just Bulletproof the head. But i think the TD04 gives a bit more compression at 1 bar compared to ct9 at 1 bar. Me skimming and using the standard 1.2mm might have worsened the issue(more compression and tension on the used headbolts). Usually we tend to increase the gasket thickness with bigger turbos especially you tend to high boost quite often. Mine is a daily driven car.

bah need some proper management :p am running mine at 1.2 bar on td04 mines totaly stock engine with blitz access ecu ( although i have a emu read to get maped) :p

need to get some pictures up so we can see this thing :o

I'm missing the car already myself. How long you've been running TD04 on that stock. Because before i bought it the car has been running that TD04 for 4 years and it's probably issues i need to eliminate 1 by 1. But i'm aiming up to 1.5 with a fully tuned EMS standalone ECU. We have a good tuner for this ECU here.
