SiCaln Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 The car is perfectly fine all the time its cold, but once warmed up I see my oil pressure drop from 4 or 5 bar to 2 and sometimes even lower when im sitting on idle or brakingIs this an issue? Any ideas guys thanks Quote
shorty Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 thats normal si, shouldnt go below 1.5 on idle when fully warm and should raise to no more than 6 on full whack when warmed up to temp Quote
Starlet__SR Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Think you'll find that the oil pressure will be slightly higher when cold due to the oil being thicker, once its warmed up and more plyable, less pressure is needed for it to circulate. Get someone to keep an eye on its progress when you go for a drive. Day Quote
