Just picked up two cans from Asda was £6 now £2 they also have a small bottle of redex for the same price on and 10w40 castrol GTX 4lt for £10 (even tho its gash oil)

Just as a emergency, whack one in the boot for £2 cant complain!

i got a can of that cant go wrong for 2 quid can ya, specially when i havent got a spare wheel in may car any of the time. might go get some more :lol: is that redex any good? never used it and dont know anyone that has tbh.

What's wrong with Castrol GTX? Especially at £10? I might pick some up later.

agreed, i used castrol on my black GT i found it to be good oil

Defo wouldnt be using it in a forged lump nor would i use it in a modified FTE......stock mabe but who has a stock FTE? I use VWs own quantum oil 10w40 for my N/A no point in throwing money away at it. using something like a fully synt will increase your service interval times = save you money and be better for your engine

I heard that when you use tyre weld it is very hard to get the gunk out thats in it?

Edit: Also i picked up a fire extinguisher for £6.99 from my local Aldi :D

yea its recommened to not be there when the open the tyre :D ive used it a few times and the local tyre place hate it since it messes up there floor :D luckly they love me so its alright lol
